It might be too late for the 12 days of christmas, BUT I am painting them any way and will post one or two as my quasi-countdown towards Christmas day (the one celebrated on the new calendar, some of my family celebrates on January 6th as we are Carpatho-Rusyn Orthodox…which I mentioned last January 6th). No matter what you do or do not celebrate I think these watercolors will be fun, look forward to lots of birds. Also, I will be able to have fun with them–because my semester is pretty much over…yay!

Hope your Monday is marvelous!

Happy Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for everything. Particularly for; being alive, for my lovely family (this includes my furry family too), my friends, my home, for yoga, art, school, education, learning, the earth, for nature, for all the teachers in my life–for all the people who I meet and all the lessons I learn from them (everyone is your teacher), for NPR, for all the blessings I have in my life, for many things. Also, I am so thankful for all of you, who visit this page and look at my watercolors–whether today is your first day here or you have been following along since day one. Thank you!

Also to be even more corny than I already am being, try to think of all the things you are thankful for today. Maybe share these things with those you love, and/or those around you. (My family has this tradition of sharing things we are thankful for on Thanksgiving.) Being thankful is so important, today and everyday.

Yay!
